Needed to use the Capri today. Freezing rain this morning. First time I've experienced it, fortunately not too bad but the grill and bumperhad a nice ice sheen when I got to work. All turned to snow this afternoon so stopped quickly for a snow shot similar to one I took a few years back. Much less snow this time but the roads were very slippy as there was virtually no traffic. There was a lot of short shifting on the way home!
Glad you was ok in that freezing rain all our windows went and froze outside and the cat came in looking like a ice cat from a film . Very strange stuff I have never seen that in my life . Love the pictures . Have not used our bus for a week now as I would not get the thing of the drive .
I went out in mine yesterday which was arguably the worst day so far and everything was fine. My old 2.0s performed perfectly. Had a bit of fun with some intentional sideways action but when I wasn't mucking around and drove like you should in such conditions the car was fine and tackled anything I threw at it. Was lovely and warm on the inside too thanks to a new heater fan. Couldn't be more proud of the old lady. Don't know what all the fuss is about when people say you can't use these cars all year round. I would upload a picture but my pc isn't hooked up at the moment and I can't remember my Flickr password on my phone.
I think the Capri sits low on the road and is not so wide so pulls like a train in the snow . I used mine all the time back in the day and I never got stuck . I never did freezing rain so that’s was a first .
All can I just say one small little thing is that a two - Nil to the pinto boys .
