RS3100 / Motorsport

Post by Noel »

There is a really good article about the Capri in the early 1970s European group 2 touring car racing, in the March 18 issue of Motorsport magazine.
Lots of in depth info. Good stuff if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the heads up, bought a copy at the weekend at the Race Retro Show for a £1.
Article is on one of Ric Wood's works replicas, very nice, and value around £250k.

Says a genuine works Cologne is now about £1m, wish I'd had the money to buy the one at the Tom Walkinshaw Auction in 2003 which went for £62k, oh well I did get to sit in it.

It was a good issue apart from the Capri write-up, lots of pieces about group B rally and turbo F1 in the 1980s too.
