Hi,
Where did you hear that Ford were planning on organising something? I've had a quick look online to hopefully find some hints, but I can't find any mention of it at all.

Andrew.
It was in a news article that I read whilst shopping. I don't buy the magazine but it was an article on Ford in the UK. It had a feature on the Fiesta being 40 in 2017and then Just said something like Ford in the UK have two further bigger parties to celebrate Escort next year and Capri. It said that parties were TBS
Finally, finally, finally..........it is now!!!!

Please see my new thread that I'll place up shortly.

Hi All,
Are there still plans to have a Laser Pagers section within the 50th anniversary event?
I seem to remember it being mentioned last year, but are there any plans afoot to meet up beforehand to convoy to the event and park together?
Any thoughts on this?

Andrew.

I think we should do something like that, it would be great to park together as a club.
Also, it's always a pleasure to drive in a Capri convoy. :D :D

Even though everybody will be coming from all around the country, hopefully we will be able to arrange a meeting point that is convenient for everybody.

I was just about to suggest the same ... Hold on, no I wasn't!

It's not easy with the lack of services on the M25. I did notice a Sainsbury with a large car park just off the Esher by pass (A3)

Yep, am deffo on for this Andrew. Should be a cracking Forum get together along with a "few" other Capris  I actually have the 8th Sept off work so no need to go round begging to get it changed :woot:

There are already loads of " this is the ONE to go to " shows being posting up everywhere but I personally really want to attend Brooklands. The 45th was just so special but this year will be even more special. The thing is so many shows are being posted up as "the one to go to" but I just cannot attend them all due to work and other commitments ( the wife !!!! ), so I will plan to get to a few for sure and then take it from there but the main one for me personally is Brooklands so I am there !!! That Dunton, Ford looks very very tasty too but need to check work for this one !
