Jamie Olivers Capri....

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi all,

Saw this in The Sun yesterday. I knew he had a Capri but did not know the history he has with it.

He bought his Capri for £6000 eight years, has just had it restored for a cost of about £20,000 and now he reckons its worth about £45,000. Definitely sounds like he really adores his Capri the way he talks about it :)

V6 too :) Haven't watched the programme for ages, but I have seen this car on it.

He must have been using the 280 from Ford Heritage while his was being restored......

As for £45K......It's worth what someone would want to pay for it.

Personally I would pay more for an original car than a restored one.

Really like the look of that, never watched his show so haven't seen it. Would love that as a daily.

Hi,
That link doesn't seem to work, for me anyway, so here are a couple of photos to confirm the reg.

Cheers for posting the extra Info, great to see it on the road in that first video ( can't get the drone one to work ) it really stands out as a sports car against modern traffic.
Judging by the steamy windows in your first picture Andrew, it looks like Jamie & Jimmy were up to no good in that car.. :D

Lovely Capri and nice that he's kept it stock. Shame that the old 'bag of cement in the boot' myth was mentioned again though.
