Another Famous Face At Car Show
This time it was presenter/actor Paddy McGuinness. Unlike some of the other celebrities I have seen at shows, he was quite brash and happy to be noticed, whereas most others are there to enjoy the day and remain quiet. He posed for pics, smiled at the no likey no lighty comments (bet he's not heard those before), and he asked to sit inside the car he's looking at in the pic.

Yes, he does seem to be into his cars. And he was very enthusiastic about some of the cars he was looking at.Jasonmarie wrote:He did do a car programme about starts and there cars . So must be in his blood like us lot .
Re: Another Famous Face At Car Show
I like him (Although not sure about all his TV programmes), and he is into cars
Did he get to sit in the concours RS Turbo??? Probably not just in case he got a speck of dust on the seat
I like a clean / tidy car , but to me concours is way over the top .....'Trailer Queens' most of them

Re: Another Famous Face At Car Show
Hi,
Some great cars there, especially the Capris. Thanks for posting the photos.
The Zakspeed Capri looks terrific, and it's clear that a lot of hours of work have gone into it. Although if I was being picky, I would say that the ride height seems a little high to suit the overall look of the car. I think it's the same car that exhibited at the CCI Nationals this year, but perhaps being parked on grass gave the impression of the car being lower to the ground.
Andrew.

Thanks Andrew, yes some terrific cars were there, they had a Batmobile (one of only four of this type I was told) and an original car from The Saint (Roger Moore) TV show. That Zakspeed is a replica, according to the write up in the window.Andrew 2.8i wrote:Hi,

I believe that it's a 2.0 Laser.
The Batmobile sounds interesting! Are we talking about Adam West era?

Yes, that's the one. I've seen it at another local show too, I think they raise money for charity by letting people sit in it, etc.Andrew 2.8i wrote:
