Hi all,
Well with me driving my bus up and down Muswell Hill everyday I was eventually bound to see Tom out and about in his Capri as he had told me he frequents the same patch and today was that day. It was brilliant and really made my day. What was even better was I was able to let him out of the side turning in front of my bus so I had a nice little drive down the hill right behind his simply stunning 1.6 - Tom in my excitement I hope I got this right fella, it was a GL wasn't it ? Correct me if I am wrong and need to go to specsavers !
You know what... I cant even remember if anyone was waiting at that bus stop halfway down but I drove past it ether way just to enjoy the view of your rear end
Funny thing is chaps, I had not met Tom before today but something just told me as soon as I seen his Capri poking out from the side turning it must surely be him so as he branched off at the bottom of the hill and stopped at lights I was able to roll past him and give him proper acknowledgement and he duly returned the same so I knew it was him.
And as for Toms Capri...WOW ! What a simply stunning car ! Gorgeous !!! Tom what is the correct name for that shade of blue as its absolutely stunning mate ?
What a splendid example of a well loved and extremely well looked after Capri. It really is a credit to Tom how lovely it is and was a great treat for me to see it as the big on my face confirmed this !!
Anyway that's my 'rave' over. Tom it was brilliant to finally see you and your Capri mate, Shame I could not get a picture but driving a ten tonne bus down a steep hill with passengers on board I thought it would not be very sensible to get my mobile out to take a picture
All the best now
Nick

Could have got a passenger to take the photo and send it to you by bluetooth.......Fordoholic Nick wrote: Shame I could not get a picture but driving a ten tonne bus down a steep hill with passengers on board I thought it would not be very sensible to get my mobile out to take a picture
As ever, it's great to spot a Capri on the road and it's even better when it belongs to a fellow forum member.
Andrew.

Great to see you albeit in passing Nick! I've always kept my eyes open for any bus drivers waving round that area!
Rear end, ooh err missis! I believe the correct name for the colour is Corsican Blue, L0 is the printed code.
Hopefully see you again at some point and maybe when you're in a Capri yourself not a double decker...
(PS guys his bus isn't quite as shiny )
