BMW Drivers

Post by Arya2.0S »

What is it with these people? Can someone actually explain this to me?

Had a dude in an M3 convertible coming towards me on the wrong side of the road! At the last moment he slowley merges into his own lane, yes i said slowly, no immediacy, no panic, like he's got all the effing time in the ball sacking world, i'm laying on the hooter (which i love the sound of the duel S model hooters my Capri has) the whole time and as he passes by i shout: "GET IN YOUR LANE!", he then proceeds to give me a look as if I'M the crazy guy, and he is totally innocent and did nothing wrong.
And its not like he was forced into my lane either, it was near a junction all he did was negotiate a basic turn so he wasn't avoiding an obstacle or a lane closure or anything like that!

Like....what clitting planet are these dingle-berries on?!

Everytime I go out in the car, someome gets on my ****! In a world of their own which is scary, how do they get a licence :?

The :turd: standard of driving from people is unbelievable, not indicating seems to be the worst.....I am meant to know which direction they are going  And too many still using Mobile Phones too :banghead: :twak:

Usually the higher end cars, BMW, Audi and Mercedes :wank: are the biggest culprits, but not always.....

It seems that BMW, Audi and Merc seem to attract (in general but not always) the pretentious and aloof who think they are a grade above everyone else and can do what the f**k they like and sod everyone else. Back in the days when their cars were good quality pieces of engineering(123 series, E28 5 series, Audi 100 etc) they attracted doctors, dentists and other professional people and the pretentious drove Jags and Volvo estates but now the cars have the engineering quality of a Yugo the tossers love them.

It seems also that these days indicators and mirrors are optional extras on these cars as well.

Please do not even start me going about women taking Tarqin and Charlotte to private school in an X5 or Audi Q7. I avoid those like the plague.

Come to think of it, i had a guy in a BMW not give way to me at a roundabout today as well, and he was on his phone! Where are the coppers when they are needed? I bet if i were to do something as idiotic as that i'd get pulled over in a microsecond!

Yep, not using indicators is by far the worst thing BMW and Audi drivers are guilty of on a regular basis. I can pretty much bet money on the fact that if I'm waiting to pull out at a roundabout or something where such a thing is required these people will not use them.

Do these expensive high end cars not come with indicators fitted as standard or something? Are they optional extras nowadays? lol. Roads are full of plonkers.

E39 5 series driver here. Can't hear people blasting there horns through my double glazing, especially when I'm trying to concentrate on my phone call haha.

All joking aside, the German cars do seem to attract some asshole drivers. Myself NOT included. Driving a bmw is just a cheap stop until I can find a decent estate car that I like
I KNOW MY CAR IS OLDER THAN ME......WHATS YOUR POINT???

Until using a phone whilst driving carries a similar 2 year ban as drink driving some will push their luck. You don't see people behind the wheel swigging from a can of Stella, (Coffee maybe  ) even though it's as dangerous. I shout at them if I see them on the phone, hoping if I can see them they might think twice.....But I doubt it :turd: for brains.

I have said it before, I can't remember getting as annoyed on the roads 20/30 years ago as I do now. Were drivers better then, or am I just older and grumpier :?

Even in Supermarkets you get the odd idiot stand right in front of you while you are looking at the shelf :swear: What do you think i'm doing here, meditating? Or they block the aisle with their trolley's while they have a chat . I'm sure these are the assholes that don't indicate on the roads!

A little common sense and courtesy that's all we ask for :)

In the 2.8 on the way home from Maidstone yesterday in the outside lane on the dual carriageway I cruised up to a Beemer convertible and as I got level with him he put his arm straight out of the car and gave me a massive thumbs up. He was grinning all over his chops when I turned to look at him. Some are better than others, I guess mine was a fan.

:agree: Not all are the same.
A majority of drivers nowadays have never driven a real car without P/S, Airbags and Crumple Zones etc etc.
If they had they might not take for granted the Euro Boxes they have now.....Looking down on anyone who hasn't got the equivilent.

Sorry, we drive Old Fords, so we are better than you :D As Jack Regan said; You've got no style Son

The use of indicators is now a fast disappearing skill these days. Cars are getting far more advanced but the driving standards are dropping just as fast.
