Footballers Capri

Reading an article on past footballers and their cars recently, I saw this, it is Phil Thompson (who had much success with Liverpool in the 70s) with his Capri, and someone has nicked his wheels!

Ford gave the 3.0S as longterm courtesy cars to Gary Owen and Peter Barnes......Alright for some.

They didn't even have the courtesy to leave it up on bricks ;) at least he had good taste, can you imagine a professional footballer ordering a Capri today? Only if :ford: offered a 4x4 version with blacked out windows ..
