Gutted cant make this weekend but hopefully Brooklands is still on which is not too far away, I have already found a meeting spot south side of hindhead tunnel if Nick is still planning to come down A3 and meet us there to all go back through together, we can meet Jaye there as well or we can meet Jaye at petersfield services and then all 3 of us go up to Hindhead to meet Nick.

Let me know when is good to meet up with you over next couple of weeks

Mark

Hi Andy.
Nah I won't b entering a car. The only ford I have is in bits. The Mondeo st estate I had proved to be more hassle than it was worth so that found it's way to another owner who was happy to take it as it was. Shame coz it was a nice looking motor but I am now the proud(ish) owner of an e39 523i (and the indicators work) for the princely sum of £300 ha.
Yea I will defiantly catch you guys at the XROC stand. I want to see nicks Capri in the metal
I KNOW MY CAR IS OLDER THAN ME......WHATS YOUR POINT???

Almost 3 weeks with hardly any rain, and as soon as you plan something

The way I see it is, there will be around 3000 other wet Fords there too :)

Bleeding Unbelievable chaps aint it !!!

Sorry to sound like a 'wet' flannel but I am keeping an eye on the weather forcast big time during tomorro to see how its looking. Not gonna beat around the bush...I am reluctantly thinking of canceling my name of the list Andy :sorry:

Yep I might be a wimp  but I just dont want to be driving the whole way home in the heavy rain forcast Sun afternoon/evening especially after all the work I been doing to B112. Not only this but the time it will take me to get it cleaned up and dried off before parking it back in garage when I get home :(

Andy I will let you know well before your 8pm deadline tomorro fella. Sorry to mess you about. Hopefully might still get down there though with or without B112.

All the best guys

Nick

Sadly, the forecast seems to be getting worse and worse for Sunday.
Hopefully it will still turn out to be a good day for the people who are going.

Ok Nick, I have had you down as a maybe anyway due to the forecast.......Often it's not as bad as expected but then again it might be.

Hope you can get there one way or another :)

At least I can say that I've never knowingly attended a car show knowing it will probably rain

Either way I'll be going rain or no rain, see you chaps tomorrow!

Hi Andy,

No point beating around the bush fella I reluctantly confirm I will not be travelling down to Beaulieu tomorrow :( :(

Am gutted as I was really looking forward to this and have been spending all my spare hours before work this week down in the garage. I am actually working till 2am tonight as I could not swap my job so was only going to be getting 2 hours sleep  but would have somehow put up with this with the adrenalin, but sorry tbh don't feel quite as enthusiastic now with the way things are  :sorry:

Chaps I hope you all have a brilliant day out as Simply really is one of the best Ford shows out there. Shame they cant reschedule it for nearer the summer weeks when there's a bit better chance of nice weather. Andy you said it yourself mate, weeks of dry weather then the one day you want it dry....... Just shows how lucky we were last year I suppose :)

Anyway I know I hope catch up with you guys again and thanks again Andy for organising the space on your XROC Stand. Bet it will still be a stunning stand no matter what the weather. Look forward tom some pics :applaud:

Neil I was really looking forward to seeing the great results of your hard work over the winter on your 2.8i. Hope to see this soon no doubt.

All the best guys

Andy & Co...

Sorry but Cherry keeps loosing power and the engine dies.. I think there is still rubbish floating around the fuel lines, possibly due to the tank being unused in ten years. I tried to flush it out but its still running rough..

Thanks for all the effort to coordinate the club attendance to Simply Ford..

Jaye.
