Come on Paul, they had mod con's too, there's a deckchair, billy can & a bucket to pee in inside that tent

These used to be great fun, shame they changed them. You could separate the two and fire the ring with the other part, those things would fly! And then celebrate your achievement with a good drink.

IIRC they got changed to help with litter problem......If you didn't drop it in the can, you usually threw it somewhere if you were outdoors.
They were good for firing at people
Imagine doing it now.......

You can still fire the ring pulls at people - rotate them through 180 degrees, aim, push and PINK! Off they go.

Oh yes, and what a group. They have made some great albums, and still going strong.

Equally as good as or better than many other bands of the NWOBHM, but never got the same recognition
Saw them support Motorhead several years ago in Exeter, that ticket was value for money

Whilst digging out for a garage extension I found this. Not sure how long it's been there but the ground has been untouched for several decades. I think it is one of those small school milk bottles. School milk, remember that! Even has the top still on, although it has been punctured from the straw I assume.

Couldn't believe it when I found that
I remember loads of kids trying to get out of having to have it.
Some would even have a letter from their parents.
The 'hard' kids used to drink it without the straw!
Used to be delivered in a crate, and left in the classroom.

Something made me think of these bottles recently
IIRC ours were left in crates in the Playground next to the wall of the school.
I think I usually had a straw
Hope you keep it

I bet that's you in the naughty corner at the back
Yes it will be kept. Took a while to clean all the soil from it, had to be careful with the foil on the top, although delicate I can't believe it lasted all those years.

That's a good point Andy, they did do that! I like the fact that it's just an ordinary silver foil top. No colours, no stripes, not semi, full, eco, low fat, slimfast, green, gold or red top. It was either milk or it wasn't

Classic
Even the novelty records back then were more memorable.
