I was always making stuff as a kid, including decorations like these, great fun :) Ask a kid to make something these days and the reply will be 'can't you just buy one'.

Taking the empties back was like winning the lottery, the shop gave you money for them, a sure fire way to ensure recycling, they should bring it back.

I am sure it was 10p a bottle, I will say the amount of Mac Donald’s rubbish on the roads it would be great if they started using returned cups :cool:

We used to nick the bottles from round the back of the local corner store and take them in the front door for the money 😀
