Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
Must admit, I do like each model to have the original wheels on. Always looks out of place and obvious when wheels are switched over to me. But each to their own Would be interested to see what you do decide on.

My favorites are like Les' in this link viewtopic.php?f=16&t=49663&start=20
Nick has the same ones?
Pepperpots are also great on the Capri, and lastly Minilites are ok but not a huge fan depending on the colour /style of the car they are fitted too.

Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
I agree with Paul and Andy, keep it standard..... However I have been tempted by these http://www.johnbrownwheels.com/Shop/P-8 ... hined.html
I think this car has them fitted

I like the deep dish 4 spokes too.
Pretty sure that car you posted Neil has had them custom made to be wider at the rear. I spent hours looking at wheels before deciding on mine...
I went 15x8 ET0 in the end and not had any issues with catching so far, with a 1" drop on 145lb spring at the front, standard saggy single leafs at the back.
But I can totally appreciate keeping it completely standard too.

Matt, Your wheels look great against that lovely red paintwork Just hang on to them Pepperpots, as they'll be worth a fortune one day.MattMe wrote:I like the deep dish 4 spokes too.

Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
The pepperpots aren't going anywhere
They'd actually started to grow on me a little by the time I got round to fitting the Revolutions. I love the standard look, however I really wanted something a bit larger and meaner.
No doubt I'll change my mind again in the future.
For me it was between these black centred 5 spokes (or something similar) or the polished deep 4 spokes.

They may not be stock standard but I really like them...but of course wheels are a personal taste. Some like standard some like others....for me its the 4 spokes

Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
I have the standard 7x13 7spoke special wheels and have a set of 280 wheels that I will eventually put on, but I really like the 7x15 4spoke jbw wheels.
I think they should make 7x15 pepper pots though!

Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
Wouldn't that be great? Although I'd be perfectly happy if I could get 6x15 pepperpots.Pas28i wrote: I think they should make 7x15 pepper pots though!

Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
It just so happens that the three people in the world that like them are on this forum.....-JC- wrote:Didn't realise there were people that actually liked pepperpots!
I think pepperpots suit the look of the 2.8 perfectly.
Andrew.
Re: WANTED: photos of your wheels!
I like pepperpots too, but seeing how hard it is to get the 205/60 tyres for them these days, and how ridiculously expensive good name brand ones are even if you can find them I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.
