Hello all! Surely time for my annual parts beg.
Can anyone put me onto some nice new wheel bearings? Capri is at my local garage at the moment and they're having trouble sourcing any.
Ta!
Wheel bearings please

Re: Wheel bearings please
Hi,
Do you mean front or rear bearings?
They shouldn't be too hard to source either way, as Burton have them:
http://www.burtonpower.com/wheel-bearin ... bk023.html
http://www.burtonpower.com/wheel-brg-ki ... b114c.html
As do Tickover:
http://www.tickover.co.uk/shop/contents/en-uk/p726.html
http://www.tickover.co.uk/shop/contents/en-uk/p724.html
And CCI:
http://capriclub.co.uk/suspension-handl ... aring-Rear
http://capriclub.co.uk/Wheel-Bearing-Front?search=front wheel
I'd stick with the specialist suppliers to ensure that you are supplied with the correct part.
All the best,
Andrew.

Awesome, thanks! Just found loads on Ebay too, but like you say, better to get decent ones than some dodgy knock offs.

Hi again, daisyduke wrote:Awesome, thanks! Just found loads on Ebay too, but like you say, better to get decent ones than some dodgy knock offs.

It's important that the rear bearings have the oil-sealing lip on one face. I know from past experience that some brands of bearing supplied by Ebay sellers don't have that critical feature, they are simply generic bearings.
All the best,
Andrew.
