Hi all, put this link in your google search to see an extensive catalogue of capri parts, company is in Germany but ships worldwide and many of the difficult parts seem available, some are not but at least catalogue states which arent, also has good drawings to help identify parts.

If you just click on the link below it takes you to their shop page, copy the whole link and you get to the fully interactive pdf drawn catalogue, I am sure soemone can work out how to, insert the link direct to the catalogue.

I'd forgotten about that site. It's certainly comprehensive.

Interestingly a new fuel tank is only a little more than costs I've been quoted for reconditioning.

I think that site has cropped up on here before. Not sure if anyone has had much success ordering from there though?

Yep, I did order something a couple of years back, honestly can`t remember what, but I`m sure it was OK? At least they are clear about whether something is an OE part or repro, and you often have a choice. By no means cheap, but decent quality and comprehensive I think.

Hi All,
Motomobil have an incredible range of parts available for most classic Fords. If you click on their "about us" link, there are pictures of their premises, including what looks like a retail shop. I could spend a whole day looking around there! :D
I like their mission statement too. They state "We will fight to save our endangered old- and youngtimers!"

However, be aware that not all parts listed in the catalogue are actually available to order. If the availability is shown as green, then it's in stock. If the availability is red or blue, there is a good chance that the item will not be available for the foreseeable future.

Andrew.

this is also a really good reference if you have never seen it before for finding existing part numbers and what goes where http://www.capriwiki.com, click on section three technical information then MK11/(111) parts catalogue then take your pick all drawings and parts

Does anyone know of a resource like capriwiki.com, which no longer exists.

Something like fordopedia.org eg

http://www.fordopedia.org/parts-catalog ... ortina-mk3

Doesn't cater for capris, however.

Anyone know where to access exploded isometric type diagrams preferably with part numbers please?

Thx J

Some interesting stuff on the Motomobil site.

I was just looking at the engine page and was very surprised to see there a 1.3 Pinto engine listed for 1972 and 73.

I'd always read the smallest Pinto engine only ever had an outing in the early Sierra and that all 1.3 Capris were either Kent engined for the UK or a small Cologne V4 for Europe.

Yes looking for exactly that, but in English and for mk1 and mk3 capris.

I believe someone had compiled all these types of resources onto a DVD but I cant find this any longer.

If anyone has the pdfs it would be really appreciated if they could be shared!
