Tickford Capri on Ebay
Hi All,
For sale on Ebay.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aston-Martin- ... 1685614381
Build number 100, and I'm led to believe the only Tickford built in this custom colour.
Andrew.

It's a striking car, isn't it.
Re: Tickfor Capri on Ebay
It is nicely engineered, isn`t it? The engine I mean.

Hi,
To be fair, a lot of engineering expertise and craftmanship went into building the rest of the car too.
All the best,
Andrew.
Yes, it is. It looks much less of a bolt-on job than the TT turbo version of the same engine.stevemarl wrote:It is nicely engineered, isn`t it? The engine I mean.

Hi, Just an opinion but that is one ugly car, like the interior though,

Never a fan of body kitted Capris and always thought the Tickford looked a bit naff back when they were new, even moreso now. I'll pass

I'm afraid I have to disagree, I like it. That's what so great about the Capri, everyone has their own ideas on what is good and what is not so good. There's no right or wrong.
All the best,
Andrew.

Re: Tickfor Capri on Ebay
I agree Andrew everyone has their own taste on how their Capri looks good. There were lots of Capri's with body kits on back in the day, so some people must love them. I for one won't be trying to replicate that look on my carAndrew 2.8i wrote:Hi Neil, sheff wrote:Hollyoak wrote: It looks like someone's spent too long at Halfords! Just my opinion

Generally, I'm also not a fan of kits fitted to any car especially aftermarket add-ons, and I certainly wouldn't fit anything on my car. However, I am willing to make an exception for the Tickford. Looks like I'm in a group of one.......
All the best,
Andrew.

Nor will I on mine.
Perhaps the spoilers reduce lift at speed and are necessary with the higher performance of the Tickford.
All the best,
Andrew.

You certainly didn't cause any offence, not to me anyway, Tickford owners might not see it that way!
You're perfectly entitled to express your opinion and there is nothing wrong with a bit of lively debate on the forum!
I must say I'm a little surprised that generally people don't seem to like the Tickford.
All the best,
Andrew.
