Hi Andy,
That's a fantastic addition to your black collection! 8-) Looks nice and original, even down to those period Kellogg's reflectors on the spokes that I remember from back in the day.
I wouldn't mind one myself, but for me it would just be an ornament.

Happy cycling!

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
Not planning on riding this TBH, just had a go in the Driveway..... They seemed a lot easier to ride when I was 11

Good investment these bikes if you have the room

At least you won't need to buy any lycra gear!

Hi Andy,
Maybe. You've just inspired me to check out the Choppers on Ebay. Judging by the prices, I think I've left it a little late to buy one as a future investment....

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Pete,
I had a couple of Sleepless Nights due to the excitement

There was someone riding a Red one at Classic Ford...I knew I had to have one

It's under a sheet in the Garage with the Capri :D

Andy,

I was just going to say this myself mate before noticing just now that you had. Me and John saw this guy at Classic Ford too...crikey I hope he did not have a long journey home on that

On another note, do you also remember The Tomahawk Bicycle too...a scaled down "copy" of The Chopper without the famous shift gear lever. Many a kid was disappointed Christmas day to "end up" with one of these rather than the bigger more "powerful" Chopper :crying: :crying: :crying:

They are being reproduced for a short period due to the demand in retro bicyles...

Andy, you certainly made a good investment mate. The MK1 Choppers are fetching big money as are the Mk2 and Mk3's as well...Is yours a Mk1, 2 or 3 fella ?

All the best mate

Nick

Hi Nick,
I Would love a Mk1 but ££££££££.....mine is a Mk2 made between 1972 and 1982. Not keen on the Mk3.

I remember the Tomahawk a friend of mine had one in the 70's.

Andy

Pete....... What a Dick  It's been along day polishing my Chopper

They also did a 5 and 10 speed Version which I wasn't aware of....
I emailed the Guys at this site to check it was current, and it was updated last year and the prices are still correct....but not for long IMO
