CRaP 2015 ONE Month to go..... !

Post by 340truck »

Okay people it's exactly 3 months until the CRaP weekend. Anyone who's not aware of this, it's the annual forum get together where members gather to chill out, talk Capris and put faces to names of people who they converse with regularly on the Forum but rarely see. And of course, I give out free batterings at pool to anyone who fancies their chances!

http://www.thecrosskeysmolesworth.co.uk

This year we have an excellent new venue which we do not have to pre pay for so we don't need definite numbers and payment in advance etc etc. There are toilets on site and possibly even a shower block if it's completed. The usual forum BBQ will be running all day Saturday, bring your own stuff to put on it (and a bit of charcoal helps to keep it going). If you tell the pub landlady the night before she'll do cooked breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning. Somewhere to sleep and a chair to sit on are the only other things you'll need.

Cost will be £6 for each night you are there. As I say, we don't need pre booking but it would be nice to know who's attending. Would be great to see some new faces and the return of some old ones who haven't made it the past couple of years. I'm going to start a list below, please add your name, you won't be disappointed, it's a great weekend.

How far is far?

I do 150 miles to get there, some guys used to come from Scotland. We've got Liverpool area, Durham, Grimsby ...
As Dave says, you won't regret it.

I might try and get there for this, well at least for one day anyway.
It's not far from my house.
It will all depend on whether I am 'playing bombers' that weekend or not.

Can't recommend this enough. Come. It's hilarious. Yet also presents a unique set of challenges and rewards to the discerning gentleman and lady. A weekend of conversement and interminglation that is likely to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. In case that doesn't work I'll have loads of sherry and ale. I shall bring lots of tiny umbrellas too, and meaty treats, and morsels.
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

hi me and mum went to see this beautiful place last saturday in the capri as we went and saw my nan in cambridge from saturday to tuesday as we hadn't seen her in a while and there was a car show going on in her village where she lives. so we popped to molesworth while we were on the way to my nans being as we go down the A14 to my nans and thought why not have a look at what the place is like as it wasn't much of a detore off the A14. it looks a great venue to have CRaP its in a lovely little village with an RAF base up the road the cross keys pub looks great and typically english. the camp site looks great and so inviting its right next to the pub and theres a lot of room on it, i cant wait for CRaP this year its going to be great. :D

I think this event would be a superb opportunity for all the landlords amongst us to buy anyone who's a tenant a drink... I feel it's the least they could do for us providing thier wealth and tax free pensions for them.
