help with photobucket please

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi.

I am in need of yet another tutorial please.

I have some photos I took at Ford Fair today and I want to upload them here on the Gallery forum, and wondered if there is a way to bulk upload multiple photos at same time rather than go through every single photo individually. I have a few to upload... ;)

Your advice as ever much appreciated.

Thanks

Nick

If you select multiple files (by holding down the control key and clicking on each one), can't you then drag them all onto the Photobucket uploader in one go.

That's useful info I didn't know how to upload multiple photos either!

Hey Nick - Did you go in a Capri then? I had a look around a few although there weren't that many really.

We ended up in a Focus ST/RS freight train coming back it was a good laugh.... Used some fuel though! :xd:

I'll try and upload some photos I took when we get home.

Hi mate. Yes i took capri mate. Got quite a bit of attention on M1 and A43 :)

But like you said fella not alot of capris there at all. Am sure when i last went a few years ago there were twice as many. The scottish capri club joined up with me in queue on A43. Was a few capris in a row for a bit. Then they all pulled out and shot off again down outside lane of A43. I should have followed them and jumped the cue but my inner decorum kicked in and i politely stayed in the queue :banghead:

Did you see that white capri trailoring that harris lime green anglia. Wish i got a photo of that !

Pulled into services at M1/A43 junction...oh my god...focus st/rs everywhere. Was great ! It used to be the sierra cosworth boys misbehaving in outside lane but now the st/rs boys are the ones to watch or should that be "listen out for"

Hope you have a good trip home.

Regards

Nick

Thanks for that mate, will give it a go. I always seem to do things the "extremely long way around" when computers involved :)

All the best,

Nick

Hi Nick,
I'm a simpleton when it comes to computers, so here's another way to try: I remove the memory card from the phone and put it in the slot in the PC. Photobucket allows multiple uploads doing it this way.
Obviously you've got the hang of it now, as you have uploaded the Ford Fair photos.

Thanks Andrew, I was also really struggling with how to upload multiple photos on a single link code from photobucket to this forum using the ctrl/v method but after research on internet (did not want to bother you chaps again) found out about the "organise" switch you need to turn on so that you can hold ctrl and select all the photos under one link code...

Cripes I just read this back to myself and getting confused

Cheers fella

Control plus V is the 'paste' shortcut. You want just control to select multiple individual files.

I gave up on photobucket (I forget why) http://imgur.com/ is pretty easy to use if you just want an image or two uploaded fast for all to see.

Nick,
Be careful with surfing on the computer, you'll get water in the electrics! ;)

That is my mate Tom, he uses the Capri as his daily as the Anglia is a touch uncomfy to drive everywhere (Kirkey seat)
