45th Anniversary of the Capri @ Brooklands - Update

Post by 2litreScapri »

Hello all,

The 45th Anniversary of the Capri @ Brooklands Museum is about 2 months away, Saturday 27th September, and I haven't been able to post much on here. The big updates are between all forums & social media we have got a potential 163 Capris attending. This would be fantastic is every one of them turns up, but there are bound to be cancellations. But we want more people coming & more Capris! So if you're from Kent, or Somerset, or Dumfries, or Donegal, or even Oslo, we want your Capri there! There will be trade stands & hopefully some special Capris & key players. If anybody has any questions or want to be added to the list please PM me. Entry is £11 as per Brooklands prices, which you can view on their website.

The other big update is clothing. We now have clothing available to preorder so you can pickup on the day. All the information & details are on our main page on www.surreycapriclub.co.uk We have a design approved by the Marketing team at Brooklands who have also allowed us to use their logo. All clothing will have embroidered logos, no stick on or transfer, so they will last the life of the clothing. You can come see us on the day & we will have your orders prepared for you. Any other questions please ask.

On a slightly different note, one of the things we do require is marshals for the day. We require 6 marshals, so if you wish to volunteer for the day, helping us out, then please PM for more info.

It's going to be a great event for all Capri fans!

Kris when you say Brookland museum do you mean the one in Weybridge? Or am I just being stupid as usual and not knowing where places are?

Yea Kris im currently working on her pretty much all the spare time I have, I just need to get her taxed and mot'd and she hopefully should be on the road. Just fingers crossed I don't run into any major problems as I don't really have the money to spend on her at the minute :p

Fantastic guys, I'm glad you're all gearing up & getting your projects done. I hate to say but it is less than 6 weeks away now! But, we have hit over 200 potential Capris in attendance and they keep on coming. This is going to be a big event for one marque, one model!
