Flat out the whole way home, got back into town and forgot how easy it was to change gear.
What a strange sensation.

Re: Back....
Convoyed with Rich, John & Major Tom on the A421 for a while, at various speeds, then fuelled at Black Cat & cruised home. Off in the garage to fit van injectors now.
Congratulations to MJ for the Spirit of the LaserPage trophy, well earned for being such a good Sport on the weekend. Also congratulations to Peter-S for his first ever trophy for Car of the Show and John for Best Modified for his now turbo'd zetec with tyre-melting bhp figures and Adlen85 for having the newest clutch there, oops - no, it was for Best Standard there!

Re: Back....
Safely back too from another great weekend. Really chuffed to win a trophy thirteen years into owning the car and I wasn't even planning on bringing that one!
Good drive home, followed a nice silver MkII down the A1 for a short while after it flew past but then slowed so I could catch up. Car now popping a bit on throttle lift for some reason, maybe it didn't like Shell vpower. I'll fill it on the usual stuff and see if it still needs tweaking.
Great to see everyone again and I'll pop some pictures up later.

Re: Back....
All cars home safe with just a wee starter motor failure on Paul's 3.0S when we fuelled up at Scotch Corner, attached the tow rope and the x-pack gave it a wee tug....voila!!!, sorry we missed the trophy ceremony Uneventful run north A421/A1/A66/M6/M74 with one stop at OK diner on A1. Superb grub btw and can recommend the chilli cheese burgers
Everyone had a great time, good to meet old and new faces again.
Look forward to next year's bash...we'll be there.

Well if a tent was too complex to enter he probably couldn't have entered anything else either!Terra-Kotta wrote:I dunno what Tom was on at 3am Sunday but I'm thankfull or trakker products complex entry system into their tents that my anus is still Virgo intacta.

Hi Ollie - tends to be just CRaP these days. There has been the odd autumn bash in the past and a couple of Christmas meets but its hard to get people to commit so see you again next summerOlliexpack23 wrote: any other shows this page does in the year or isit just CRAP?

Re: Back....
Can't hurt to try a sept one at a new venue. But would need 10-15 committed.

Re: Back....
We've done it before to be honest. A sat to Sunday event. Ended up nearly as busy. Let me know anyone that's interested. And il need help organising it. May be an idea for trying the new venue. I know a few possibles but they are all around here.
No biggie really to just throw gazebo up park up in a field etc.

Re: Back....
Overdrive will have to ferry the gazebo in his estate car, Adlen will need that bulkhead heater pipe plate fitting on his Laser & Alice will need her rocker cover gasket replacing. Mine will need a good run out to test that radius arm inner bush (when I get it fettled) & I'm expecting 340 will be there with his wallet
Major Tom will be there if there's another haunted house to explore, Sta1ker might turn up & have an early night for a change...
