Hi,
Spectrum is good, and there are some good emulators available so you can play all the classic games online. A year or so ago a bought a Coleco off Ebay, and I'm trying to find an Intellivision for a decent price. Now, they're real games consoles!

Rolling bang on a 12 is a Critical, which means, in this case, you'd improve it in some way, or do it in half the time etc. Anything over 12 is a fail, meaning you lose something and are unable to complete your task.
Rolling a 1, a fumble, would be not noticing dropping a nut into the internals... and sucking into a cylinder on startup.
Sometimes I walk around with my dice and roll them when someone asks me a question... maybe I'll bring them to CRaP. I'll just have to test my Social Acceptance skill to see if I will..
Hi,
Thanks for enlightening me, most appreciated. I can't say I 'get' it, but at least now I understand what it means!
Geekiest you say... I think I have a few contenders
- Accounts for a computer game I play "Eve Online" they have an intrinsic value based on how much time and/or effort the player has put in. Was researching how much I can make when I cash mine out! It's well into the £100s atm!
- Katanas ("ninja" swords) I own three now
- Cards for the game "Magic: The Gathering" just cos I used to play it, and heard that they can also go for silly money
- Amiga 500 games

One of my bezzie mates Katie plays Eve Online.. absolutely loves it.
Magic the Gathering... not heard anyone say (or type!) that in a while.. I remember in the original Fallout games there were objects called Tragic Trading cards.. that had a chance of addiction.
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.
Along the lines of Steve but with Banana Splits show cos the wife and I both loved it as kids. Readily availbable in a box set as it turns out so I bought it from Amazon. We watched some on holiday in April. It seems vey much 'of its time' watching it all those years later!

It's pretty addictive, I used to be well hooked, but my interest in it is waning now. It's so deep and complex and tactical, but needs a lot of effort too. These days I don't even consider logging in unless I know I have over an hour to spare - you just can't achieve much in less. Def. not for casual gamers imo!
