dangerous subject this.
So we have elections coming up in just over a week and I was wondering what opinions other people had on this one. I myself support ukip because I think they can shake up British politics as they have become even more untrustworthy recently. But which corner are you in and why?
Please keep it civil lads and lasses, no back biting please just healthy debate.

my mate fancied nikki sinclare (west mids ukip mp) until i proved to him she was a tranny. never seen a face expression show so much disappointment in my life lol.
i'll be voting ukip cuz all the others do my head in and know as much about running a country as i do how to build a pinto engine.

UKIP for me, they bring a bit of common sense to politics. I would vote Tory but I'm sick of them at the minute!

Undecided, but not a UKIP fan here. I personally don't believe leaving the EU is a wise move, though I do support major continent wide reform.

I have delved a little into politics to make my vote count. I was worried however that most people will vote for UKIP because they would seem to offer a fresh start from all the bad things surrounding politics in this country. Most people I feel will vote on the promise of something that benefits them directly without looking at the parties plans. This scares me as I don't feel that UKIP are capable of running a country.

I'm glad to see not everyone wants them to lead.

I think you`re right. At the same time the credibility of the other parties is so bloody poor, they`re all seen as self-serving hypocrites, you can`t blame people for wanting an alternative. It`s an insoluble problem I think?Hot_Protein wrote: Most people I feel will vote on the promise of something that benefits them directly without looking at the parties plans. I don't actually see ukip in power. But I see them as a tool change the direction of British politics. Its already working because the tories are scared.
Re: dangerous subject this.
I know it`s not strictly on topic but it is interesting how Cameron is quite un- committed shall we say about Gary Barlow`s tax evasion, and yet they`re so very keen to be seen to be tough on the `scroungers` at the other end of the social spectrum.... (Not defending scroungers - just seems to be one law for the rich... et cetera! )

I'm not going to vote.
That way, I can't be blamed for whatever shitty good-for-nothing party comes to power.

Re: dangerous subject this.
Also worth pointing out these are European elections not parliamentary ones so even if ukip got 100% of the vote they still wouldnt be in power. They would just be our European representativs

It's took me 50 odd years to realize that no matter who holds the balance of power non of them have ever benefited me, I have always been a Labour supporter and was once a member of the party but I can't stand the leadership. Think I will vote for the Capri owners party, you know it makes sense.
