I agree Andrew, thats a good idea, i think we shall make the choice on say friday night ? because it would be a shame to travel that way for a wash out and no one to turn up

Doesn't look good. I won't be able to go if it's raining because my kids will have to stay in the car. I will have to stay in the car. Everyone will be in their cars.
I can't do next week because my Mrs will have the car because she is going to Wiltshire to watch her mother do a wing walk.

Re: Capri Meet in 4 Weeks!
Hi,
No, it doesn't look good. Forecasted weather is heavy rain in the morning with light rain and sunny spells in the afternoon. I'm really looking forward to going, but there's not much point if it's too wet to enjoy the event.
I personally feel that it should not be a problem to temporarily cancel the meet, we just need to PM everyone who has confirmed attendance.
If we do decide that it's best to defer, I am free most Saturdays, so I will be happy to tag along on any day that you guys want to arrange an alternative date.
If Hot_Protein can't come next weekend, how does everyone feel about the weekend after? I think it would be wise to re-arrange the date for the earliest possible time. That way, we lessen the risk of missing available sunny days.
Andrew.

Hi,
The forecasted weather seems to be improving slightly. The BBC says the rain should be over by around 11 on Saturday morning. Perhaps we should allow a few hours before making a final decision?

Hi,
Yes, unfortunately the weather does not look good for today. I'm really disappointed but look forward to a rescheduled meet.
I think we should reschedule for the second Saturday in July as the first, the 6th July, clashes with the CRaP weekend that this site organises and it may adversely affect the attendance figures for our meet.
What do you guys think?
Andrew.

Look forward to seeing everyone sometime in July!

Re: Capri Meet in 4 Weeks!
Yup always the way isn't it? I'm doing the same thing over the weather tomorrow at the Cosford Airshow - although this year I have a secret weapon in the form of the works' Transit van, any sign of showers and the camping chairs will sit nicely in the back with the side door opened and cool box at the the ready
Back on topic the only reason I'd not committed to today's meet was cos of the early start for the show tomorrow - so if we're moving to another date then put me down as well!
Mike.

Re: Capri Meet in 4 Weeks!
Hi Mike,
It looks like we're provisionally rescheduling for the second Saturday in July. The date is currently flexible so we can try to arrange it around everyone's commitments. I hope you will be able to come, it would be fantastic to meet you and finally get to see your car!
