Motorcraft battery stickers

Post by Andrew 2.8i »

Hi,
Does anyone have any experience of buying these stickers from anywhere?
I was thinking of getting some from DMB graphics, has anyone got any feedback?
All the best,
Andrew.

No personal experience but they do, I think, claim to be officially licensed by Ford. Been going a few years too.

Thanks Steve,
I thought that was the case, and I have heard elsewhere that their merchandise is of good quality.
I am just a little hesitant to buy from them as when I emailed them to ask a question, I never received a reply. That always puts me off buying from someone!
That's why I just wanted to check what experiences other people have had, just to make sure.
All the best,
Andrew.

Absolutely! It`s very poor - but then, our local council does the same!!

Lack of a reply gets my goat too. But then again, I always wonder if they receive it, spam filters, cyberspace problems, tech issues, accidental deletion, could be lots of reasons why they don't receive them. Pick up the phone instead, that method worked for decades.

But it's 2014!

Seriously though, that is good advice. However, if I buy from them through their website, I want to know that they will respond!
As I will be spending the princely sum of £8.50, I want to be sure that I'm doing the right thing!

It's one of my many pet hates. If a seller can't be bothered to respond to a potential customer, what chance is there of decent after-sales care?

All the best,
Andrew.

DMB Graphics in my opinion are great. They do some really good quality stickers. I purchased some Ford wheel centre stickers & after 4 years they still look great. As for custom graphics, I'm sure they can accommodate.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear! :) I'll give them a try.

Hi,
Thanks everyone for your replies.
I took the plunge and can confirm that, contrary to my fears, both the quality of the stickers and the service is first class.
I've even found some pics on Google of a genuine Motorcraft battery of that era that indicate the positions of the stickers.
Should be an easy enough job. I'm supposed to be decorating this week, but I keep finding all these excuses to escape into the garage for a while!
All the best,
Andrew.

Thanks for your kind comments. I agree!
I know the purists will say that it looks nothing like a Motorcraft battery, but it brightens up the engine bay so I'm happy!
All the best,
Andrew.

That`d be impossible as the period ones were a sort of whiteish translucent plastic (which i`ve never seen since.)
That is as good as you`ll get!!

Well, I wouldn't go that far, it just brightens up the engine bay a bit. 8-)

Thanks Andrew, much appreciated :-) I plan to replace the battery with a square terminal one as mine has a round post battery - when that's done the stickers will be on!! Think ill buy the stickers now anyway after seeing how amazing yours looks :-)
