An early notice for those that wish to put the event in their diaries.
This is the annual forum bbq/camping weekend at the usual field/social club in Marston Moretaine Bedfordshire.
More over the coming weeks but you now know when it is so hopefully a good few of you will come along to the best Capri weekend in the year :D

I am definitely in on this one. Last year was fantastic. Met so many awesome people that I hope to see again. I will bring the belly baby vodka!

As it seems to be becoming the only reason I tax and test my car, I will no doubt be there too.

From the comments so far it sounds like it will be a good weekend.
I take it you would welcome newbies?
How many people normally go? All ages?
Do you just turn up, take your tent and pitch up there?
Not been to one of these things before but would like to try.

1) It's a great weekend!
2) Newbies are welcome, of course!
3) Tickets are available in advance of the event to pay for the hire of the field and raffle prizes - £10 per car.
4) Do it, I made the long trip last year and had one of the best weekends of my summer!

Aye truck, the cars are sexy!

Adlen was a newbie, most of us were at one point. This is my summer weekend away from it all, total chill-out doss. Get there friday night (with a bag of chips from the chippy on the corner) scoff chips, tent up, catch up with everyone & meet the newcomers, Joni & Bailey have a good run around the field . Bring a coolbox with bangers, bacon & drumsticks + a bag of buns, (plate & knife if you're posh) another coolbox for the drinks. 340truck brings his mega oildrum sized barbie. We're in a pub field so bar with pool table during open hours. Group marquee to keep out of the sun (or rain - doesn't matter either way) Capri Club Scotland come down every year and those guys know a good party when they see one :!:

:agree: I went to download last year and this was a close second for the best weekend of the year. Awsome people, great cars ( even the occasional accedental triumph spitfire lol ) cant recomend this any higher. And I was a newbie last year too

I've only ever missed one! And that was last year. I've been to every other CoC(k), DICC, and CRaP.

Hi all,

Been slowly building my car over the past 2yrs as and when I got the time off, due back from a complete respray in a couple of weeks and I think this is now my goal to have it completed by!!!

Looks to be a great time and I look forward to my first event and meeting like minded capri fans!
