Look what I got at a auto jumble

Post by Sonic »

I was in the market for a pass side wing mirror and was at a car show on Sat.

Just happened to spot this lying under other bits & pieces. Could hardly believe my eyes that none of the other ford guys had got to it first.

Its a bit rusty and has a few holes, but nothing a Capri owner would be phased by. Just need to dig the angle grinder and mig out.

So how much was this treasure??? £3.... Three Pounds!
Its only a bargin if you need it!

Lucky guy, the last 2 shoes I have been to I have managed to find 8 passenger mirrors for LHD capris but none for RHD.

I will persevere though.

Lad at Wonderland last week with a brooky had a black plastic passenger mirror fitted, exact shape of original but it'll never rust. Now where in God's land is the factory that made that precious item - probably closed twenty years ago.
