new rims.. more clearance

Post by Craigorypeck »

slot wheels have been replaced.. ground clearance is now a few inches higher. the exhaust manifold should last a bit longer now and not be dragging over every ramp and speed bump in town... 15" compomotives.

your right! its hard to beat the deep dish 13s.

they should make the 15" one with the same amount of dish.

Nice wheels. I got a thing for Compo MLs.

They do make them with deeper dish. They come in 7, 8 or 9inch wide. David85 has them.....

Mine are actually group 4 rally wheels.. the centre hub piece is near 2" thick so thats eating into the dish. like the 15" on capris. i'm converted.. that 2.8 is top class.. 1" lower on the back for me

i think i too am liking the 15". that seems to be the similarity between the cars i like and it makes a big difference to the looks as they fill the arches

I love the colour of your car (and that's from someone who doesn't like red!). Is it a Ford shade?
