Some years ago, back in 88 when i was 18 i guess,i used to own a capri 3.0s.It was diamond white with a black vinyl roof. The reg is FVF 662T. A few years ago i tried to trace it as i wanted to do a resto.Would have been great to get the old car back again, but wasnt to be.
I contacted the DVLA who were as helpful as ever, and eventualy found out that the vehicle was on a sorn.So i was pleased at least it hadnt been written off or scrapped! But obviously they would not disclose any names or addresses.Eventually i purchased another 3.0s which is now restored.
It would be really great if anyone knows any info regarding the whereabouts or history of FVF 662T.
Also ANY HISTORY for the car iv just finished CGC 972X.
CHEERS!

Re: MY OLD CAPRI?
I checked a few cars I have owned that I know were scrapped and they came back with similar details IE no clear sign they were scrapped.
All you can do is check the DVLA every 6 -12 months and see if the details change IE the SORN or Taxation. Dead is the reality though.
