I'm a footy fan yes Pete though doubtless you will say not as I'm a gooner.

Like I said a couple of weeks or so back, I see you're lot doing the double. Can't see another of your ex managers getting the better of you or Wigan repeating their 3-1 from earlier in the season so I've not changed my opinion. Love to be wrong though

FOOTBALLER ISSUES LETTER TO FUGITIVE GUNMAN

Dear Mr Moat,

whilst you were in prison, I think John Terry was sniffing around your bird.

Good luck in the future,

Wayne Bridge.

I think we deserve this lot!

Whats the difference between Cinderella and the England football team?

Cinderella wanted to get to the ball....

Osama bin Laden has just released a new TV message to prove he is still
alive. He said that the England Team performance on Saturday was completely
s**t. British intelligence have dismissed the claim, stating that the
message could have been recorded anytime in the last 44 years.

Robert Green - The only man to leave Africa with out catching anything .

In a statement from broadcasting house, all future England games will now
be shown on the gay porn channel. It is thought that 11 a**εholes being
regularly shafted is too explicit for regular TV.

I can't believe we only managed a draw against a s**t team we should easily
have beaten......I'm ashamed to call myself Algerian.

The England team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning,
"its so good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly
struggling, and facing the impossible" said Jamal Omboto, aged 6.

Fifa have released a statement saying the fan didn't break into the
dressing room after all, but was let in by Rob Green.

What's the difference between Rob Green's spill and BP's spill?
- Robert Green has got a cap for his.

Fabio Capello was wheeling his shopping trolley across the supermarket car
park when he noticed an old lady struggling with her bags of shopping. He
stopped and asked, "Can you manage dear?" To which the old lady replied,
"No way. You got yourself into this f*****g mess, don't ask me to sort it
out..."

The FA have launched an inquiry to find out how a fan found his way into
the dressing room.

The England team are expected to fly home today via Glasgow airport to ensure they get a hero's reception

THE STATE OF THE NATIONAL GAME

A heartfelt post is coming up...

I'm a Geordie, a region noted for producing great talent from it's established Boy's club model.

Recently that model has been impacted by the professional club academies...

Boro have shown some success, Newcastle have produced Carroll and to a lesser extent Taylor, Sunderland, Leadbitter (from the junior club I am Chairman of) but other youngsters are still 'bought in'. Carl Magnay has left this parish for Chelsea.

Basically, my message is: pro clubs... do not sign players until they are 14/15. The academies are not working!
NUFC only want to sign giants. One of my lads is tiny but is very effective and has huge potential. Two NUFC scouts spoke to me about him. "Is he playing up a year?" No. "Are his folks tall?" No "Oh well, not to bother..." I was incandecent!!!
He's a great student of the game, everyone picks him out as being a great player. Like Messi, Speedie, Pires, Zola he is just not big or bulky enough! Well at least I can look forward to more Ameobis, Huntingdons, Edgars and the like coming through...

My club have recenty agreed to a partnership with Sunderland AFC as their academy lead has agreed to let players stay with their local clubs.

Why were clubs not tripping over themselves to sign Joe Cole? Is an English lad with flair not trusted???

NUFC were relegated due to a lack of flair and creativity. Lilleshall failed with its limited players it produced- exhibit a- David James. exhibit b- Alan Smith. exhibit c- Michael Owen. All one trick ponies.

SENRAB lead the way in producing prem league players, what goes wrong after that???

Harry Redknapp is critical of grassroots coaching, yet what does he do to nurture talent? Compare a potent prem league striker to his own wife??? Sell rather than coach/ improve...

I recall he lambasted Roeder for not having a Pro licence. Harry never sat his, niether did Allardyce or indeed Fergie. They were gifted theirs. One has been a success but has he done it the right way all the time???

The wrong people are in favour.

Academies have to follow the 30mins/ miles rule yet I know of a ten year old in South Shields whose parents now have a greater Manchester postal address.

My team are moving from 7 a side to 11 a side and we are part of a learning league, every goal is applauded, the refs are all training and have assesors present, teams look to score the next goal, not go two up...

...no pro is near it our players play without fear.

The FA want to go U7-U10 7 a side
U 11- U14 9 a side
then 11 a side as per the Dutch model.

Rollicks!!!

Why not mimic the Brazilians- all ball control.
Or the Germans- winners.
Or the Italians- ball control and careful tactics.

Anyone care to comment?

Hey! - there's nothing wrong with Harry that an ego transplant, head shrinking machine, and loyalty implant couldn't cure! - Especially if you take his rose tinted mirror away as well!

What can we say to sum up the great "knapp meister"? - He came, he saw, he spent, he conquered, he buggered off up the road, got them relegated, he came back, he saw, he conquered, he buggered off to yid's-ville & left us to get relegated! - look out Spurs fans! - coming to a stadium very close to you soon; the new football blockbuster - "De Ja Vu" - and this one doesn't have Denzil Washington in it!!! - This dude is FAR whiter and much more dangerous!!!!!
