Hey, as I am a new comer here, I thought I would get to know a little bit about where the Capri owners are around the country,
I am from North London, and I am curious to see if there are any trends in the area that capri owners are from...or maybe its an even spead.
Consider this my introduction too, the names Tom, and I should hopefully be getting a cCapri soon to tinker with.
So what am I getting myself into?

Hi mate, I'm another Martin and I live in West Norfolk. There's quite a few others in this neck of the woods I think, from North Norfolk, Norwich, Suffolk and Cambridge.
Wonder how easy it would be to produce a map of the country where you could click on an area and see the names of those members that are near by? Would be useful if you needed help or maybe if you were planning a long journey and wanted a few emergency contacts along the route?

I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess it would involve everyone putting some details down onto a small database.
It would be useful to know too, as I would love to have a chat with a nearby enthusiast, so that I can learn a little more

I think this was discussed once Martin, though with the price of 70's shells going up along with demand for the banger circuit, it was decided against incase pikeys ever learnt how to use the PC they nicked last week. Maybe a safer way of doing it could be found, like having to register an IP address before viewing?
I don't mind saying to our new member though that I'm from the Bury St. Edmunds area in suffolk. Welcome to the board!

And to Rich...... I didn't exactly mean giving out addresses etc. Simply thought you could click on a county, or area, and be shown a list of members names, so then you could contact them through this site?
Don't get me wrong Martin, I think it is quite a good idea. I just remember last time someone mentioned it, a few peeps didn't want to advertise where there cappa was, is all.
EDIT: I remember now, someone wanted to do a "pin on the google map" for everyone, which would obviously most peeps didn't like the idea too much.
Maybe if a section were added that listed all the towns in the UK, peeps could add their name to their nearest point of civilisation. Bury for me, Thetford or Lynn for you, etc...

Fraid me and my whole family are Spurs fans, just the way we grew up. Not a massive fan of the game anyway, so it doesn't bother me.

weird! i went to uni there, spent 4 years in pompey, very nice place in the summer on the seafront! God i miss uni
