"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.

May I be the first one to congratulate you on your amazingly rare car (or careless typing skills! ).xpackmk2 wrote:hi i am from just outside reading and i own a 1994 1.6 s

Re: Where is everyone from?
yer mate I thought it was you as soon as you said mk2 in reading that you were restoring!!!
yer I did see the mk1 on ebay and thought I recognise that car!!! the numberplate I recognised the most I woulda had that if I had the room, you most probably have seen me drive around in my XR3i...as I used to work in Icelands...not anymore though. I did come past your house the other day, I saw the garage open and turned round and came up your road was gonna stop and have a chat but you had gone inside
Ill have to pop over one day and take a look as I live in Finchampstead only about a 10 minute drive see how your getting on.
the mk2 looks clean mate I was looking at it when I first saw it outside your house.
I only looked because I spotted the mk1 Fiesta....cos I've got one too
so any plans for the mk2? I was chatting to one of our members today at the club meet and we had a mk1 join today and we were saying we need a mk2 now, and I turned around and said, I know of one in lower earley I'll have to pop over one day and persuade him into the club

Re: Where is everyone from?
The plan for the Capri is to have it on the road for about september. It will be finished before then, I just don't have the money for insurance etc!
So your fiesta, is it blue by any chance???

Re: Where is everyone from?
More or less standard, just a few 'light' improvements such as MP3 input, electronic iginition, more efficient light bulbs etc...

Limerick, Ireland. Few Capris knocking around my area.
One family in particular near me, dad, two sons and a nephew all driving Capris, and often break them for parts.
