Update to site...

Post by rich_jc »

Mark, as you are updating the site, wouldn't it be nice to update the capri pictures pages so that it can show some current members' cars?

Most of the people shown on there are long gone off the scene.

And just to be really picky...

Can you move the tabs on the forum page as it is now too wide to display on a 1024*768 standard screen.

I now have to scroll horizontally as well as vertically to see the posts.

Give me a chance...

Post by guitarswet »

I only posted the changes about ten minutes ago!  Thanks for feedback as It look fine on my 22" monitor.
I am trying to integrate the pages in with the main site to give everything the same look and feel.
I know a lot of people think the style is naff and out of date.... but you could say the same thing about the cars we love!
Regards
Mark

no I don't think so

Post by guitarswet »

the link is to the same place.  It doesn't make sense unless you have two groups of people who don't want to speak to each other!  And that's the type of thing I'm tring to prevent!

Do both do it or just the Q&A?

Post by guitarswet »

On my PC the Rant and rave looks OK bu the Q&A scrolls off screen.  Is that the same as you?
There is something in the HTML somewhere!

the page is slightly narrow for me, but nothing to moan about. I am using a measly 15" monitor tho. Dont laugh, my other one didnt last a drunken night.

Great move btw mark, i was shocked when i logged in, i said out loud 'what the f!%k' , got a funny look lol.

Seriously though...I like it, and I like the 'old' style, it works, dont fix what aint broken Image

thanks for sorting this out, i like it!Image

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Just so you know Mark you need to remove some text....

Post by Supercharged Nat »

the text in the cancel subscriptions bit, should it say 'for 5 per annum'?

might be the same on the tech forum too?Image
