Re: Et voila!!!
I notice you have mounted the coil pack centrally... will it clear the inlet manifold? I wasn't too sure whether it would with the leads on, so I offset mine just incase...

Re: Et voila!!!
in fact, I was most concerned that it would have enough clearance for he cam belt... tried to keep as much distance between the coil and belt as possible as I run without a cover:

Re: Et voila!!!
I think that I have about 12mm of clearance between the coil pack mounting plate and the belt... centralising the coil pack would have brought it far too close for me.

Re: Et voila!!!
That was quick! You're gonna be done in no time!
I'm on the look out for a dizzy to mod if anyone has a spare one for sale.
I reckon I'm going to struggle with getting the the dizzy and VR sensor brackets made up.

ive had a closer look

Re: ive had a closer look
which trigger wheel are you using? I noticed you're getting through GooRoo... if it's the Sierra CVH one, then the price Chris quoted is less than some scrappies want for used ones... I ended up paying £17.50 for my first one... got a second put aside for the TT, which may well get the MJLJ treatment too.

Help
Ok I'm really not sure where to start in terms of buying the nuts and bolts.
What am I going to need to get to mod the dizzy and fit the VR sensor?
I see in Colin's pic of the inside of the dizzy he has screwed 4 things in which the bolts holding the Coil Pack bracket screw into. What are these bolt socket things? Where can I get them and what sizes do I need? Also how to I attach them to the dizzy? Do I need to drill holes then tap a thread? Can I do it with a normal drill or do I need to buy a bench drill?
And what type and size of bolts do I need?
Any advice much appreciated as I don't have a clue about this bit.
Cheers

Re: Help
the pillars are ones used in electronics and have an M4 stud on one end... the 4 holes are already there in the dizzy... I just tapped them to suit and put a locking nut on for security. the larger pillars to hold the coil are tapped M5 at one end and have an M5 stud the other end.
I may be able to supply you with suitable pillars... I'll have to have a scout round.
