Laser Page Video

Yo,

Got an idea.... I propose to make a Laser Page Video, something along the lines of this:

If everyone can get some cool footage of their Capri's I'll set up an FTP server so you can upload it, then I'll edit all together.

I'm thinking if everyone who wants to join in can send in about 30 secs or so of their best footage then we would have plenty to splice together. Doesn't have to be one long clip, lots of little ones would probably be better actually.

I'm thinking lots of shots of:
Burnouts, sideways action, beating other cars away from the lights, 360s in gravel, handbrake turns, as well as a few artistic shots like reving gauges, noisey exhausts, screaming superchargers etc.

If your interested, let me know then start collecting footage

Awsome idea man.
Ill see what i can come up with in the 2.9. And ill do a few arty shots, maybe 3 second vids of drive bys or drive overs (over the camera) to fill in gaps between longer vids.

my camera can make massive file sizes but im guessing thats not too good- do you have any suggestions on camera settings- something youd prefer etc?

Ideally 640x480 25fps would be good. Files won't be small but could be left uploading over night.

That way I could make a high quality version to put on CDs and DVDs, and compress it down to put it on youtube/photobucket.

I'd say 320x200 15fps should be a minimum.

Yeah, some stills are good too.

I'm planning to lift a load of the COC photos from the LaserPage stand and do a bit of high speed Ken Burns effect flicking through them.

Also I'd really like to get a close up photo of the tailgate logo of every model of capri too. E.g. from 1.3 to 280special and do a flick through them all.

Once everyone's got a bit of footage I'll set up the FTP server. I can also make all the uploads publicly available for download if anyone else want to have a shot at editing it all together.

Hey,

I went out and shot some footage today. Just finished editing it together. Gives and idea of the kind of stuff I have in mind for the Laser Page Video.

This lot took 2 hours to collect the footage and about 4 hours to edit it all together. Was a lot of fun though, hope you all enjoy it.

Let me know when you've got some footage and I'll make a start on the Laser Page Video.
