Diamond cut with black or silver centres, see sets of 4 today at 490 flocked with yoko 175/50s... (buy direct and cut out the "middle man" )
appart from the givaway centre caps a good deal i think.

7j with 175/50?
Is that really the tyre size on those or is there a typo in there?

That's what I thought...
Isn't the whole point of having 7j wheels so you can put 205's on?

No typo.....
175/50 13s is the tyre to go for.... part of the "south london look" apparently, loads of em run that size on a 7j, more popular than the 195/45 that are now only available in dunlop 9000 tread.
205/60 old hat now, too tall.

Re: You mean like these?
Those are revolutions, the ones Glyn's talking about are like the S or Laser 4 spoke, but wider at 7". 175s look ok, I prefer wider ones myself though. personal preference I guess.JC|2 LITRE LASER AUTOMATIC|STRATOS SILVER
Re: You mean like these?
I got 7" wheels for the front on 175/50/13 and 8" on the back on 205/60/13 as the 205/50/13 was impossibale to find. Will look a bit draggy but it think will look cool.

"South London Look"?
Cobblers, tyres aren't a fashion item, they;re to grip the road!
Our local tyre place can source Marshall/Kumho 205/60/13 tyres no prob, and I prefer the wider look.

IMHO the 45 profile look is very escort thats been "decked" ...but Glyn loves the early Escort so "horses for courses"...but deffo not for capris.

Correct TCK.....
Capri arches are just too gappy, i trial fitted my 7j supalites on mine with a 195/45 and you could see too much inner arch, with a 175/50 would have been worse, the main reason i didnt keep em was the crossmember ended up 25mm off the floor.
195/45/13 dunlops were on offer at 30 each when i got mine, good deal but as i found out years ago with dunlops on a mini (3000 miles out of the fronts)they just dont last, grip like **** to a blanket though
175/50s are the tyre of choice for escorts and anglias though, suit mk2 cortinas well too.
