What's your dream restoration project?

Post by Beakster »

Mine would be one of these, even though I can't afford to buy it, never mind ship it to the UK and restore it.

Although sadly the seller has now revealed it isn't a genuine Cobra :(Image

...a full GT6 resto in Practical Classics mag - if you haven't seen it I have all the instalments you can borrow. Nice cars, they're the same E-Type/Interceptor/Capri shape that I like so much (fastback I think it's called?).

apart from that, im hoping to help with my dads restoration project of his BMW CSL 3.0L, in-line 6. SOC, fuel injection, ltd slip diff, 4 speed box, 200bhp standard.... 15%+ different cam. aluminium panels, 1 of the only 500 made, wonder how many are left running out of that... not many

sounds fun ey!!

Although I went in a small blaock 72 Corvette last night that was great although you think the Capri bonnet is big, but its sort of you crash you die as there is only composite around you and a 5.2 engine.Image
