U registering Johnna?
Got to be legal or risk having it crushed & your life savings lifted by ce.
If you have access to a snap-on strobe then there's a gadget you can clip round #1 injector pipe to check it, but not cheap. Called a warp-impulse-drive tester or something?
email sent with chip-shop alleyway link attached!

Annual allowance of 2500 litres pre duty seems a decent allowance, I wonder how much I shall use???

Hahaha! Cheeky bugger!
I get paid at midnight tonight.
The holiday has seen me backed into the corner of the fiscal boxing ring, but I can get one for £60.
Free is always the best price though!

Re: Hahaha! Cheeky bugger!
Have you looked in "Machine Mart" or "Screw Fix"? Prices start at about the £20 mark.
Though it does depend on the type of set up you need.
Let me know what you need. DO NOT HIT IT WITH a HAMMER though. LOL.
I'll see what is available.

It needs a specific type of dial guage
screwfix direct start at ~£120 IIRC.
Will try Machine Mart though.

Machine Mart don't do them
cheapest so far is a factor's in Wakefield £62ish inc postage or halfords £75.
Screwfix don't do them either, just the magnetic ones.
Bugger.

Jonna,
If it's likely to be in the machine shop I'll be able to help.
Failing that can you get the attachment for the snap on timing light cheap?
Model of the light I have is MT1261A. MT254 Lumy / Inductive Adapter is the piece of kit as Nige metioned, attaches to the No. 1 Glow Plug. The other attachment available is the MT255 Distributorless Ignition Adapter.
Not had any need for the above and timing light has only been out of the box twice in the last 18 months.
Can ask friends in the trade, if you let me know exactly what your after.
