30mm ID? Around 80mm in length should do nicely. Thin walled stuff preferably. I don't expect it for nowt, it's just I'm not paying Samco £15 for a coupler that isn't even going to be used for it's intended purpose!!!!

Mark,
Might be some at Scotch Corner, though you might need a distraction to use a hacksaw LOL!
Seriously though there are other companies that advertise the silicon hose you need. Look in Classic Ford, Retro Ford or the kit car market etc.
There will be some off cuts available, why not ask direct to some of the kit car builders etc.

Well John....
Not neccessarily. Like you, I have a seemingly endless and in this case equally useless supply of 30mm rubber coolant hose.
The thing is, whatever type of hose it is needs to be maluable enough (good word eh?) to squeeze through a couple of awkward gaps before being fitted. So, how am I going to remove the old piece of hose if that is the case, I hear you ask? Well, I hacked it up in situ and pulled it out in 3 small pieces. Crude, but effective. So, that's why I was thinking silicone/turbo hose could be the answer.
There's no way I'm removing the inlet and exhaust manifolds, and the injector rail, just to replace an 80mm length of pourus hose. No way.

Nice one Shaun....
It would be very helpful if you had. I'd even buy you a Scotch Corner Hotel coffee on Sunday for it, assuming I can raise the neccessary funds LOL.
