Created earlier, using the remains of the old one and a 19mm nut. Oh, and the old stick welder of course. I even found a nice rubber washer to replace the poxy nylon one.

Why didn't you get a new one?
Halfords charged me 23p for one special ordered for the capri and was identical to the ones on the shelf for other Ford Models but £1.75 or so cheaper!

Just weld the sump plug hole up...
If you want to do an oil change, just dont top it up for a month and the oil will soon run out. Then put the new stuff in. lol
