New sump plug....

Post by mjcapri »

Created earlier, using the remains of the old one and a 19mm nut. Oh, and the old stick welder of course. I even found a nice rubber washer to replace the poxy nylon one.
Be sure to see it 'in the flesh' at D.I.C.C or Scotch Corner.

Halfords charged me 23p for one special ordered for the capri and was identical to the ones on the shelf for other Ford Models but £1.75 or so cheaper!

If you want to do an oil change, just dont top it up for a month and the oil will soon run out. Then put the new stuff in. lol

Had I known that they were 23p I might have done, although I did need it then and there!

Anyway, making things is fun.
