Weekend work...
Right,
Ive got my u bolts and nuts, diff cover gasket, diff oil, will get some bolts off Andy, and some tank strap bolts should be coming in the post.
The rear axle is going back on the shell, and she will be moving, albeit not under her own steam as yet.
What's everyone elses job for the weekend?

Well thats the plan!
Working Saturday morning but not intending to do a lot!
Had a chaotic week with a busyish week at work with too many cars to get sorted in too short a space of time and one impatient Ferrari owner!
Gotta look at Carlys car Saturday afternoon as it drives like a bag of ****e and my diagnosis of "its French" isn't valid apparently!
Sunday I plan to do nothing followed by more nothing!
No progress will occur on the Capri until I get some more metal to continue making a floor pan which i cant see happening till the end of next week!---------------

Go for it Dave!
I love having the bairn work on engines with me. He has seen pintos and BMW m20 straight six bottom ends turned over to understand the crank/ piston movement.
Yesterday, he helped (genuinely helped) me fit a timing belt to the 306td. He's seven!

Finding a job.
Try and find a job, send in a dozen more odd application forms, filter out all the ones for target driven sales (my interviewers comment today- "you're a nice lad but you aren't aggressive enough, which I was surprised at for a radio DJ and stand up comedian". Pfft, most stand ups are sociopaths he's lucky I could string a sentence together without sweating and or swearing.)
God I need some money.
Other than that a couple of days surfing in Devon then back to take the car to the pageant of motoring in Romsey. Happy days
I might try and hard wire in the 4 channel mixer in the glove box too, gaffa taping the wires to the roof of the compartment isn't the most professional way of doing things!

Re: Weekend work...
Technically I'm still on holiday and having spent 10 hours driving home from Scotland today (or yesterday as it is now after 12) I can't see that I'll be doing too much at all!
