NI Capri Run around Ards Peninsula

Post by Sonic »

My Capri Club did a drive around the Ard's Peninsula, across on the ferry and down the east coast.

There is nothing better than driving in a convoy of capris.

Really Great day

Check my photobucket for the pics (vids to come).

...good. Love the double line on the ferry - it says "stand aside for the superior vehicles" to me!

hehe, like the opening scene of saving private Ryan, arriving on the shore to cause mayhem. Only without getting bits blown off them...

Looks like an awesome day, really nice line up of cars!
Total number of friends who have so far managed to open the passenger door first time: 1.

Yeah it was good craic, I had drove 200 miles from 1.30 to 10pm.

The guys who own brooklands and orange 3.0s, who run the club, were at the front of the queue on the ferry and they got soaked with sea water.

We had to stop afterwards so they could wash the salt off the cars. Surprised they didnt disintegrate on the ferry lol

The green mk1 was only just restored and it looked lovely!

Here is us pulling out for the next leg of the run. Listen to my rumbley exhaust note.
