it's all over

Post by capri_turbo »

my wife (29) is having an affair with a 60 year old man (the boss of the hotel she works... well worked at, as she's now been sacked by his wife).

So that's it... we're now all set for divorse.

I'll not really have any decent internet access for quite a while now, but will pop in when I can.

But, as has already been said, time really is a great healer. All you can do is try to stay positive and think of this as the beginning of a new chapter, hopefully a happy one that will help you leave all this behind.

Take care mate.

Take care through it Col.

Remember though, you are a smashing bloke and your only vice is for 70's 80's cars that rust a bit...

you'll get snapped up in time.

NB, I'm not chatting you up here...

lol John

no Pete... the Turbo is staying... I need it... it'll keep me sane... something to do... I have plans for a low comp engine when funds allow.

The split is amicable, and we are best of friends. I will end up living in the bungalow that I am currently building in my front garden, and Anj is keeping the current house, so I'll see my kids every day. I've also managed to sort a plot to the rear of the old house for a double garage that'll be ALL MINE for the 2 Capris.

Current state of affairs with the build:

Image

1 week (51 hours) to get to window height... having major head aches with building control and damp proofing as the next door build which is only just ahead of mine is a good foot higher... we had our footings in first, but they ignored all the levels, so I've now got ro raise my pad a good 12" to get finished floor height above the new higher ground level that next doors builders have created. We've had to tank it too and install land drains all round, plus in new builds there's the issue of the gas tray to keep out Radon, of which there isn't any round here...Image

...then do it like Chris e Boy has.
Trust me, it is only the end when the parents give up on loving the bairns as bairns. And then it is the end of a lot of things...

Thems your bairns not your mates or your confidants...

I've asked Mr Guru a few q's on this and knows what he is talking about.

I lost a mate down to his birth fatha not seeing it all through...

all I am saying is, love your bairns ... no matter what.

NB, I know Col will, because we all know how genuine he is. Take care fella.Image Image

Post by InvalidBoy »

the bloke who seduuced Col's wife (29) into having an affair was only a sixty year old bloke...

I dunno where this leaves you...

perhaps there are some fifty year old girls who will be impressed with your respective experience...

Why not Pete?

Post by Brookie280 »

I pulled a 27 year old (28 now) so its not impossible! lol
Tho must admit downside is my daughter (14) does not want to have much to do with me despite all my efforts! Jeannette was understandably upset in early days but since she moved out we have remained friendly and get on well. She now has pulled a Toyboy (7 years younger) so things do work out - I just hope problem with my daughter is down to her age (Kevin era) and improves in time!
Hopefully for me it will be third time lucky!
Good Luck Col hope it works out for you!
