MY CAR - update!

Post by daisyduke »

well, it's been over 2 weeks since it broke and i spoke to the guy today, The line was bad when we spoke as he£s waiting for BT to fix it £ so I didn£t hear that clearly. But what I do know is that the cam belt slipped 3 notches and caused some of the valves (don£t know if it£s inlet or outlet valves £ we will find out more when we see him) to hit the piston crowns, this bent the valves but the crowns were ok. The belt slipped because it was old - real old, like mr ford fitted it himself when the car was born or something. people i bought it off said they'd changed it i couldve sworn. bah!! anyway, i should be picking it up tomorrow :) weeeee!

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Like me, you appear to need only the slightest excuse to go and get well and truly wankered.... Good man.

Oh, and I'm pleased you got the car sorted Daisy!!!!
Actually, if your 34 Webber is peeing you off with it's inability to provide the engine with such essentials as say, fuel and air, I've got a nice VV you can have. Free.
So who's a tight northerner now, eh?

A VV? That's cruel Mark.

..very cruel. That's like making someone swap an oily for a catseye.
