one stoopid thing- a hole on the inner wing. i had to patch the driver side a few weeks ago... why oh why didnt i bother to check the passenger side?! what an idiot! its in exactly the same place as the one on the drivers side.
i think im more dissapointed with my self for missing it. so guna patch it tomorrow, then get up there first thing monday for a partial retest. the guy said he just wants to see it done and thatl be ok, everything else was fine, just an advisory on the passenger wheel bearing (slight play).
but i guess thats the thing about being friendly with the mot station and the guys there, they like the capri and love the supercharger, and are very understanding. i was even allowed to do some of the testing, lights and manouvering it about etc... (i think the guy was a little scared of driving to be honest).
never mind, lesson learned, check very carefully in the future.
"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.
Failed MOT :-(

Re: Failed MOT :-(
I've learned to expect a failure now, after having so many fails. Its really gutting when you expect it to pass and have done loads of work on it and then they hand you that red print out.
Good luck for the retest
