Just seen the listing on the Ace website, anyone know anything about it? Who organises it and if many people turn up etc? Looks to be 1st Saturday of the month @11am

Yo,

Organised by Surrey Capri Club. Link here: http://www.surreycapriclub.co.uk/Ace_Cafe_Capri_Day.htm

I was there last year with Snake, Andy C and Stuball. It was a really good day with an impressive show of cars. Last year it was a just turn up early and get a space. But this year I heard its already all booked out so you need to park on the road.

I probably won't make it as I get back from Ibiza that morning and don't know if the car will be fixed yet.

Hi, first time I've been on here for age's. It's all changed! :?

I'm the organiser of the Ace Cafe Capri Days - http://www.acecapris.com
and the Surrey Capri Club... ;)

Don't matter if your not on the Pre-booked list for this year's event on Sat Sept 6th, still come along as there is plenty of space on the road outside.

See ya there,
Kev. :)

Cool, thanks. It will depend on whether the car is working ok, and looking presesntable by then! Yours is the awesome red mk1 with the blower through the bonnet isn't it?

Yes, mine is the red Mk1 3.0GT, owned it since 1985..!!
That's just an air / street scoop sticking up through the bonnet which sit's on a Holley carb & Swaymar inlet manifold.... ;)

Please note - the Ace Cafe Capri meets I organise are not every month, just once a year.
Kev. :)

Cool, love that car, only seen it in photos but it looks gorgeous. Had a feeling it was only once a year, might do some work this weekend and see if I can get it fairly presentable!
