Easy tiger!!

The 2.8 was gonna come but its as low as a dacshounds undercarriage as it is and with all the camping gear, Andrew wouldn't of stood a chance!! Dave's Cortina Estate isn't on the road yet and Jon's Cortina is unwell so he didn't want to risk the journey.

on a lighter note tho, some great pics there chap, just love the one of the cracked sidewall or was it a pic of the wheel? some lovely motors there and had a great time (even if i was suffering this morning)

sounded like a bomber plane, the road runner sticker in the engine bay was a little tacky though.

looks like you were the DICC photographer this time! really nice images rich :)

I took a few on sunday as i arrived well late, but to be honest i was nursing a hangover that didnt kick in till midday, the worst!! was glad i came down tho, better late than never ey!!

I just try to get some images that aren't just "another capri" pic, so I get low or go close, try and capture the little things - ford logos, holes in brake discs just visible through a wheel, carb linkages, etc...

Can't fault the camera for £60, though dont buy tesco value batteries, they lasted about 6 minutes.

under the bonnet its original midnight blue, its a metalic shade of the same on top.

its a dealer x pack too, whats known as factory x pack.

Its Lees, one of the leighton old skool massive around my estate...
having had the experience of a few miles in the car i can say its a propper animal, the ultimate essex if you like, like nothing alse....all good fun but 8mpg! used a qtr of a tank between junc 14 and 13 of the M1 at 70 ish.
