Don't do the nuts up tight on stuff anymore as it'll only have to be taken off in a week anyways....

well my mate says the bottom end bearings in my pinto are trashed, chunks out of em and all sorts apparantly which would explain the low oil pressure.
The crankseal is buggered too very badly which would explain the oil leak. He couldnt tell if the piston rings were damaged or not but says the bore isnt in a bad way and will just need honing which means I can keep the forged pistons rather than going out to 2.1 and getting new ones.
I'm suprised it ran as well as it did! didnt sound bad or anything but I@m also glad he's found things wrong with it, means that it should be asweet as a nut again once it's been rebuild and refitted...
got to get it an MOT as well....bugger...
