Father in law bought one at weekend for £13.99.

I picked one up this morning but put it back, as I thought I have to open bonnet to connect/disconnect so might as well carry on removing negative lead as I have been doing!

Cheap enough though :)

Good recommendation Andy. Aldi also have these in, their own version, a similar price too. Personally I do prefer the Aldi tools and stuff, but still, good find.

I use one Andy it’s really good and you keep it connected all the time and only plug in threw the grill . With my battery cover you would never know it was there .
I will get a picture when I get the Capri out next time . Also it charges up the battery and then draws the power to keep it 100% not like a charger .

Here is what I use .

CTEK MXS 5.0 Fully Automatic Battery Charger (Charges, Maintains and Reconditions Car and Motorcycle Batteries) 12V, 5 Amp - UK Plug https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00FC42HAA/ ... uEbPSSAQTK
Ford Capri 2.0 Laser 1987 Mercury Grey .......
