A reg capri spotted in Bedworth near Nuneaton
I saw a faded red A reg mk3 capri in Bedworth near Nuneaton last tuesday at about 3pm i was on my way back from a job interview at a car spares shop in coventry. it drove past us when we were waiting at some lights. unfortunately i didn't see the driver or the front of the car as i was looking at the map as im the navigator in the car. by the time my mum told me what went past i only saw the back of it. looked a nice used everyday capri, anyone's on here?

Hi Dan,
I hope you get the job in the car spares shop.
Will that mean we can get our spares at trade prices?
Weren't you in the Capri when you spotted the red one? I love it when I spot a Capri owner I don't know and we exchange cheery waves and flash our lights at each other. Most of the time, anyway!
All the best,
Andrew.

Thanks guys i really do hope i get the job at this car spares shop. its looking promising as the manager is going to give us a trial run there in a few weeks time as he was really impressed with my knowledge of cars and my mechanics qualifications i got at college. he's also got 2 jobs available. he asked me which one i wanted, i said i would like the full time position but if i don't get that i don't mind having the part time job. also this isn't a chain of car spares shops its just the one shop in radford coventry called Auto Pitstop. it's quite a small shop but its got loads of stuff in there and says its the best in coventry. also we wasn't in the capri we was in my mum's 2006 Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 Club. when i spotted another capri in Birmingham last month in my mum's car i beeped the horn and stuck my thumbs up at the driver. i bet he thought i was mad.

Hi Dan,
As already has been said fella with that job in Auto Pitstop. Your future boss was right when he said its one of the best. I just been looking at his website. Very impressive indeed mate. With your excellent knowledge of cars...especially "older" cars you will no doubt be a great asset to his team. One of the car spares shops I use had a young chap much like yourself working their and the owner said he had not got a clue what contact points were So your knowledge from working on your Capri along with your mechanics qualifications will be certain to land you the job I am sure
For anyone interested here is a link to Auto Pitstop, Coventry

Well, I have to get the attention of the other driver somehow!
Disclaimer: I must emphasise that I am merely being whimsical and my original statement referred to me flashing the headlights of the Capri.
